This year we had the opportunity to have a week long Thanksgiving celebration up in Virginia Beach with my extended family. We all pitched in and my cousins rented a huge beach house for us all to stay in. It was so much fun, and so good to spend time with family I only get to see once a year at the most. We cooked, ate, played games, made puzzles, took pictures, talked, watched movies, played arcade games, had a bonfire, went to the movies, ate more, cooked more, went shopping, went fishing off the dock. It was never ending entertainment. We were surrounded by great cooks, the food the whole week was amazing. All of my Aunts and Uncles were there, all of my cousins but one, and my one and only Granma made it all the way from Florida. It was bittersweet having to leave. Hopefully we can start a new family tradition and rent a house every year.
