Isaac, being as darling as ever!

Isaac has been home for almost 3 months! That blows me away, but of course just like adding a baby to the family, it is hard to imagine life without him. He speaks English exclusively now but he still has a very thick Amharic accent. He can not make the "s" or "sh" sound, but replaces them with the "t" sound.  So, "yes" is "yet" etc.  He is very smart. He always wants to do school work with Koi and Claira.  He scribbles on paper with crayons with great enthusiasm. I say it all the time, but he is a very typical 3 year old. He has tantrums and he fights with his brothers and sister, but he is also sweet and lovey with them. He struggles with authority, but so do my other kids. He yells everything he says. He always wants to be heard, and if you don't respond right away, he will repeat it getting louder and louder every time. But again, my other kids do that too! He is very helpful with chores, he is always eager to help me do laundry or unload the dishwasher. He loves to run little errands for me. If I say, "can someone bring me a paper towel? He takes off running to go get it. Then he'll run up to me saying "I did it! I got it!!!" So cute! He calls all books "Bible", but he knows which one to pick out when we say, "go get the Bible". It is amazing how well he has adjusted. He's a perfect fit.
